The residents of the McClay ADC Center participated in my Tea Etiquette Class during January's Hot Tea Month. The ladies were dressed in red and purple hats, pearls, and gloves. Not only did the ladies participate, but a few men joined too. I think it was mostly for the delicious finger sandwiches and pastries! Anyway. . . Real men drink hot tea!!! It was a lot of fun! They drank a lot of tea. . . I promise, it was straight tea too!

It's time to sit down by a cozy crackling, warm fire and sip on a hot cup of aromatic tea. Actually, tea is enjoyable anytime of the year. There is also a lot of interesting facts about tea. Brrrrrr! Baby it's cold outside!!! However, it was delightfully warm inside. Today I had a Dining Etiquette class with a lovely group of young ladies. They are members of the Junior Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri. The class was held at Carmine's Steak House in beautiful Downtown St. Louis. We had a wonderful private room. It was the perfect size for the class of 14 people. Carmines did a great job on setting the table. I loved the fruit designed chargers (service plates) they use. As always, the food was excellent, so I heard. . . because, as always, I did not get to eat any of it! That's a little hard for me to manage gracefully while conducting a class. Anyway, their lasagna is delicious! The salads are pretty good too. The girls did a great job in the class. They were all dressed up and very festive looking. They really enjoyed the class and the chocolate cake! Thank you Scouts!

KSDK-TV 5, News broadcast
Last week I conducted an etiquette class for some wonderful young ladies. KSDK-TV 5, was there to tape a portion of the class. They ran the segment today on the morning news. Anchorwoman, Nichole Burlie did the interview, assisted by Joe, her cameraman. The class was with the Covenant Daughters from Grace New Covenant Church. The girls were so excited about the broadcast. . . I was too! Here's the link to the segment.

Have you been looking for Jackson Etiquette website? Try MannersForSuccess.net. In the process of changing the host carrier for my website, as my old host carrier went out of business, I had to re-register my domain name. Long story short . . . Jacksonetiquette.com will be available again at the end of August. In the meantime, MannersForSuccess.net will take you to the same website. Thank God I had more than one domain name. Check it out, I just added some classes for 2017! Exciting!!!
Yes, that's me in reading glasses. Not too bad!
